What was your inspiration?
I sometimes get ideas in the middle of the night or when I'm watching TV & I have a journal I scribble these ideas in. Sometimes it's just the setting as in this case. When I made the center stone I immediatly thought of this little sketch in my journal.
What are you most proud of?
The beautiful pearly layered red center faux stone. I love making these stones, each one is a one of a kind & you don't know what they look like until their sanded & polished.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Always enjoy yourself, if you start to get frustrated walk away from your work for a few minutes, maybe even take a break ( I know it's hard to do) stress is not a friend to creativity.
