What was your inspiration?
My sister is really into skulls and argyles, so I decided to knit and design a beanie just for her! Afterwards, I decided to write it up after receiving requests for the design.
What are you most proud of?
My sister loves her hat and I love how the colors turned out on this one. I used scraps from my stash.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure that you carry your yarns loosely along the back. Otherwise, you will get unsightly and undesirable puckers. Furthermore, if you pull the carried yarn too tightly, your hat may not fit properly.
