Cotton fabric. I tried to stay with an antiqued American style fabric. The back fabric is a postcard pattern.
What was your inspiration?
I am in a small group of Army wives who wanted to do something we could all pass around and leave our mark on. I made the quilt. It's not a unique design, but I have enough basic experience that I did not follow a pattern for this quilt.
What are you most proud of?
It's not a unique design, but I have enough basic experience that I did not follow a pattern for this quilt. I was able to pick out fabric and work out the math to get the finished product. It's my first quilt that my sashing all lined up and looked awesome!
