8 yr old Gary III, drew up this cake design for his birthday, I brought it to life. Prepare your board with the plastic dowel, cutting the ends to mushroom as your going to put it through the bottom of the board and then cover the board with foil. Use for each tank, a half of a half sheet cake, a 6" sq cake frost each with bc, and put on cake board. You will have to cut off about 2 in. of cake from each half sheet cake protion, set aside and use it for dunes for the army men to stand behind. Cover donut with fonant, let sit intil hardened. Make army guy out of 50/50 gumpaste & fondant, you can find instructions on you tube for making people (thats what I did). The gummy army guys I bought online at Blaircandy.com the oreo cookies are the wheels on the tanks, Add your own accessories from fondant, Glue the glider to the plastic dowel, once the tanks are positioned on the cake, add brown frosting to the board for mud, it also helps with the army guys when positioning. last we added some airbrush color for effect.8 yr old Gary III, drew up this cake design for his birthday, I brought it to life.
