What materials did you use? Cotton fabric, cotton batting, ground walnut shell bird litter, buttons, thread, ponytail holder.

What are you most proud of? I love the colors. She wanted something with maple brown and teal. This was in my stash and I love it. I like the little fabric loops for the scissors and knitting needles and I like the little ponytail holder looped around the two buttons to hold your thread in place.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure the arm of your sofa or the place where you will be using the caddy. It's very simple to make. This one is about 8 inches wide as requested and 26 inches long again, per request. Quilt your outside, batting and inner lining first...before adding your pockets or anything else. If you use the walnut gravel as I have for stuffing the pin cushion, leave room to close it and allow yourself some room for the binding.

Sorry, I don't check in here regularly...to attach the spoon thread, you sew on two button and use a ponytail elastic, loop it around the button, through the spoon and over the other button.
