Materials

I used a super bulky yarn on sz 13 needles, but really you could use any weight yarn and compatible needles. Needs blocking too (to have the full effect) so a large blocking space is needed- an unused mattress or cardboard fridge box work well.

What was your inspiration?

I was playing with a stitch pattern for a houndstooth type look stitch and was thinking hmm what happens if I mirror this continuous diagonal? I really liked the look and then I did just one (sidewise) rep of it and it made these cool scallops on the edges. So I went ahead and added some' finishing touch' edges and blocked it to accentuate the scallop effect. Once it was done it reminded me of the drawing for the method to draw the right angle lines for a triangle from just the hypotenuese using a compass arc...hence the name- SUPER GEEKY I know! But I liked the sound of it too...

What are you most proud of?

the unique line of piece, the versatility, and ease/fun of knitting it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As with most of my designs my advice is always go ahead and try it - you can do it! And try it out in different ways gauge, color, fiber, have some fun try something new!
