Hi Linda, I don't know what the big white shells are called. I just fell in love with them when I saw them at a gem show. I'm sad because I only have one left! And yes, I strung everything on beading wire after making several wrapped loops. Thank you so much!

I wanted to ask you if you wrapped the beads in the front with wire and what did you use for the base? Is it a heavy gauge wire?

Hi, no the big shells were top drilled so I just slipped them over the beading wire. The remaining beads which "cluster" between them are simply placed on headpins and then I did wrapped loops.

Thank you Susan, I have all the material but when I stated slipping them into the beading wire they did not stand up like yours, they were all drooping down.
