Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

Continue to learn to enjoy the process of discovering your inner creativity.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Whimsical

Materials

100% cotton fabrics

What was your inspiration?

Fabric choices determine the outcome; learning to play with these choices becomes part of this creative pastime.

What are you most proud of?

Responding to the lesson with an open mind and creating it how I feel it should be interpreted.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you are new to quilting or to the technique, try doing the blocks with scrap fabrics and if you don't like the outcome, just try it again. Especially if this is your first quilt, you can always use the course's recommended fabrics for a second quilt, where you will know exactly what to expect the outcome to be.

The snowperson shows so much movement like he/she is blowing in the wind and snow. But all your blocks are great

Thanks. Not being fond of any paper piecing, it was fun to create something unique with the hexies.
