What are you most proud of?
This is quite an elegant block and I shall have to be firm with myself if I'm not to spoil it by adding other things!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be put off by the rather fiddly preparation that's required in making the hexagons - the making of a template, paper patterns, etc - it's really quite therapeutic, even for someone like me who wants to get on the sewing machine and get on with it! I made the hexagons whilst watching television (which stopped me raiding the refrigerator!).
