Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

If you are a beginner it takes time to get the hang of the piecing. That was the most difficult part of this project. It is nice that you can take the project along to places and have something to work on while waiting or relaxing.

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Kona Snow with colorful fat quarters.

What was your inspiration?

Amy Gibson's Block of the Month series.

What are you most proud of?

How it turned out. It was a challenging project for a beginner. Once I got the hang of it the second block was easier to accomplish.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have patience for this block. It took me a lot longer to finish than the other blocks of the month. But just stick to it and work on it during a good tv show or movie and before you know you will have it accomplished.

Hi I wonder how many times I'll have to try to type this silly me for hitting the wrong buttons. Immusing those colors all have stimilar colors that tie into each other. I found the fat quarters at Joanne's for this project but making sure the fabric felt thick. I've found that they have thin fabrics . Happy sewing.and thank you
