What was your inspiration?
The Across the Pond Sew Along group - December project. The trees are a simpler version of my paper-pieced pattern.
What are you most proud of?
The napkin holder worked really well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun with colours and fabrics - remember trees do not have to be green.
Do not worry if your seam allowance isn'talways 1/4" - just trim to size when finished.
Finally I would be inclined to use cotton fabric rather than linen - it will require less ironing and laundering.
