Purchase 2 t shirts, same size, make a stencil or buy something you like. Use the soft paints and stencil your shirt. Let dry, put second shirt under top shirt and pin in place. Using embroidery floss sew around the painted edge, then cut away 1/4 inch in so the second shirt shows. Use a running stitch and let your knots and ends show, part of the look.
