Love leaves, color and love this quilt! What was your inspiration?

The pattern for the leaves comes from Laura Wasilowski - she is a master of fusible art quilts, and also does gorgeous hand dyed fabrics. Here is the link to her web site ... My husband's cousin wanted a round table topper, and so he designed this layout. We do like the way it turned out. :)

Stunning design and use of fabrics... you can use that leaf design in other quilts.. carrying the repetition of the design further...!!

Thanks Wendy - I love this leaf design, and will certainly use it again. And I wanted to thank you again for your great course and inspiration to be improvisational and creative with art quilts.

I agree, the leaves are vibrant and color choices gives them dimension. This is very nice!
