What materials did you use? Mug quilt block from Mimi's class. I used the basted freezer paper method. For the 'stem' handle, I found it hard to not have puckers on the inside of the handle. I embroidered the heart because I didn't have a good colour. This, and most of my appliques from this course will become mug rugs.

That's what I'm thinking about sharing as a little Christmas gift for my lunch pals, and this applique is perfect. I had the same problem with my handle, but hope with practice they'll improve. I think they still look OK
