What was your inspiration?
My studio curtains. I had leftovers and wanted to have a guardian in my room to keep an eye my stashes of fabric/yarn/paper & all the forgotten items languishing in the closet~
What are you most proud of?
That she matches my curtains. Also, the addition of the satin roses around her skirt hem
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use traditional black thread to sew on the applique. It would make it pop. I used matching thread and she lacks definition
