Instructions

P. 20-24 of the July/August 2012 Fons and Porter's "Love of Quilting" magazine...
Take your time and be sure to cut EVERY piece exact and mark all 8 dots on each piece. The prep work takes the longest...but, sewing slow and working the pieces together took longer than I anticipated...saying all that, I cut it in two days and sewed it in two days (not including top quilting and binding)

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Funky, Casual, Mod

Materials

quilting cotton

What was your inspiration?

The new Fon's and Porter Magazine...and my daughter wanted something more modern for her wedding quilt.

What are you most proud of?

I stepped out and tried something with curves...up to this point I've mostly shied away from anything that did not have a straight sewing line.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

take your time, but, have fun with it! It's a great FAST quilt for a baby, and not too bad for a bigger "kid" at heart!
