Instructions

I used my stitch & slash class info to create the front of this bag, then lined it, added some handles, used the stitch & slash top fabric to also make the back of the bag, and viola! Materials

Quilting fabric for the front, back, and handles; satin-type fabric for the lining, Wonder Under, gold trim, and thread.

What was your inspiration?

A friend's collection of apple-themed kitchen items.

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of the way the design came out almost exactly as I had envisioned it. This was only my second stitch & slash project!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the class! It's awesome!

oh my goodness..how sweet!! I just love your bag! I make jean bags,out of jeans I had & buy from used stores,flea markets,garage sales. I'm new to stitch & slash, so I'm going to try my hand on adding to my bags.
