What materials did you use? 100% handspun merino wool for weft, 80/20 alpaca-silk for warp

What are you most proud of? That I wove this out of yarn that I handspun (for the weft) and it's my first time weaving on a Cricket Loom. It was very tiny at 12-14 ppi depending on the width of the yarn. But the resulting color is AMAZING and I hope my step-sister loves this when I give it to her.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Cricket Looms are ridiculously easy to warp, so if you want to try something small I would definitely start with one of them!

Not done yet, only halfway there, but I was so excited I wanted to get it up for people to see! Also, I handspun the weft yarn, so I'm especially proud of this.

Absolutely beautiful rich green. This made a beautiful scarf and I bet your step sister is going to be thrilled. I've never spun so I haven't worked with handspun. I make have to take it up so I can have even more control over my projects. This is very lovely work.

Thank you so much for the compliment! I absolutely suggest learning to spin your own fiber! It's tremendously relaxing and exciting to see what you create, and you can play with fun color combinations that other people might not have thought of!
