another wire wrapped necklace

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Jewelry Workshop: Bead, Wrap, Chain & Etch »

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic, Classic, Whimsical

Materials

green onyx beads in two sizes, 24 g sterling silver headpins and eyepins, sterling silver chain, jumprings, clasp

What was your inspiration?

I loved these beads and wanted to make a necklace on a chain that showcased all of the different colors of green. I wanted it to be something that was a standout piece that could be worn as the only accessory.

What are you most proud of?

That I was able to move on to the next step in wire wrapping!

You could also use a longer chain to make it in to a necklace and shorter chain to make dangle ear rings.

I was just saying to a friend the other day, Wouldn't you love to know how to make a necklace with chain at the top and the beads all the way around to the other side? Your work looks so nice and so wearable!
