What was your inspiration?
It is a beautiful design and not too difficult or labour intense, especially with a slightly chunkier yarn I really enjoyed knitting it. The baubles I made with 5 stitches instead of 7.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I think you can do this as a beginner lace project... there are only those first very long rows of lace, after that you have an easy run and still you end up with a very beautiful shawl! If you are starting with lace and chart reading, try and put a marker between repeats so you can see better where you are.
