Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Formal / Bridal, Funky, Rock / Punk, Retro / Vintage, Whimsical, Romantic, Goth, Cute, Classic, Traditional, Victorian / Steampunk

Materials

Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock Multi 3 x skeins of #Flamingo Stripe

What was your inspiration?

My mother Anne Marie, who died of cancer 15 years ago

What are you most proud of?

I love Abi's from Noblin Knits knitting on these, she did a really good job of getting them to fit

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

You can stop at any point, to make ankle socks, calf socks, knee highs etc, just stop and then do the picot edge at that point. The sizes on this are very forgiving and there is a lot of stretch provided you can cast off very flexibly.

The skirt belongs to the model and is a family heirloom and quite old. There was no pattern, I think it was purchased in Japan.

hello these look so beautiful that I would love to try knitting them. Please can you help me find that pattern. I have clicked on everything that opens but am unable to locate it. The colour is spectacular - a great indulgent project, I cannot wait.
