What was your inspiration?

I made this for my Sister-in-law who lives in the Czech Republic. The San Diego theme was my inspiration.

What are you most proud of?

When I was making the quilt, it was too narrow, so I added my favorite part, the little "postcard" pictures along the edges. I thought that this made the whole thing more interesting.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I always think that quilts are more interesting with more detail. I think that adding borders around the pictures makes the whole quilt better and more finished looking.
