What materials did you use? Cottons, with Bamboo batting (OOOhhh lovely; Silky and cool!)

What are you most proud of? This is the biggest Quilt that I have finished so far. It measures 51 inches by 58 inches, (though whilst quilting it measure 64 x 72) I echo quilted each windmill once only (manoeuvring the bulk of it under my lil sewing machine was hard) but made up for it by echoing the black border 'windmill blades' 3 times each. Im very proud of the back. I incorporated the original block and used only fabric from my stash to complete the backing This is going to be a 10th Anniversary present for my husband so I will add a label between now and September..

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do it....Anita is genius at taking a block and simplifying it to the point that even a self taught newbie can make a professional looking Block/quilt/hanging. More Block designs please Anita!!
