Angora mistake rib scarf

Instructions

Cast on multiple of four + three.
K2, p2, repeat to last 3 stitches, k2, p1.
Repeat!

I seamed the scarf edges together to form a loop. The scarf turned out so fluffy that the seam is not at all noticeable.

What was your inspiration?

I had a gift card to a local yarn shop so I got to splurge on some really nice soft yarn and finally make a great scarf for myself.

What are you most proud of?

Having the guts to rip out the original project! I got pretty far with this yarn on another pattern, but it was mostly really tight garter stitch that didn't show off the fluffiness or softness. So I took a deep breath and ripped the whole thing out and searched for a simple stitch that would show off the angora qualities. I think the basic mistake rib stitch did that quite nicely.
