This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quick-Strip Paper Piecing »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Romantic, Classic, Casual, Whimsical, Traditional

What was your inspiration?

The print material of the border/background. It lent itself to the light and dark colors of the "circles" in the NY Beauty.

What are you most proud of?

It's a project that I felt was beyond my expertise, but did it anyway. I found it to be fun, challenging, and a quilt that when completed (with the binding which is the green "sample" on the right side of the picture), it will be a quilt that I will display with pride.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Peggy does a great job of guiding you through the project and my best advice is just go for it!

Thanks Peggy! This really is the most FUN I've had quilting with great results. My local quilt shop asked me if they could display my first pp project I did for the class (baby quilt) - everyone wants to learn your method (they know if I can do it, they can surely do it!)! Thanks again, Angie
