What was your inspiration?
I have never tried to do an angel in filet crochet before and wanted to give it a try.
What are you most proud of?
I looked through many pictures of angels to decide how this should look and am very happy with the way it turned out. I especially like the angel's flowing skirt.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The tree skirt is worked from the center out; keep track of the increases on the sides of each panel so the stitches line up correctly.
The finished diameter is 51" across.
