The materials are listed in the materials for the Block of the Month with Amy Gibson, and if the class is no longer free, I would highly recommend people sign up to take the class. I would not pretend to authorize my materials, because Amy lead the class which gives the materials needed.
What was your inspiration?
Craftsy with Amy Gibson's Block of the Month. She made everything look so easy, and once trying it. I proceeded to do a full size quilt to finish using my red, whites and blues. She was my inspiration with her teaching and made it look so easy. Thanks Amy
What are you most proud of?
I was proud that I finally was able to make a Quilt of Valor! Thanks to Craftsy for the Free Block of the Month, and I am still learning as I finish this quilt. I have saved my other blocks from January thru March and waiting for the rest of the months. Go Craftsy, and thanks to Fons and Porters for pointing me to Craftsy.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have all your colors ahead of time. It is good to be organized when making a Quilt of Valor or for any Quilt. This was not like just making a scrap quilt for me!
