What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make a small project to hang on the wall using my Cherrywood fabrics. This particular pattern just was the perfect match for the fabrics.
What are you most proud of?
I was really pleased with the layout of the colors and how it really does look Amish. But most of all, I quilted it very traditionally, using feathered wreaths. Love the result.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a quick project that you can make up in a day. You do need some experience in piecing so that you have the proper layout.
