my friend Dallas sewed the quit top, i hand quilted it for her
What was your inspiration?
i've been lucky enough over the past decade to hand quilt many of the lovely quilts my friend Dallas has made, this is one of a series of Amish pieces she has done, i love the contrast of color, found a nice penn dutch design that worked nicely in the center
What are you most proud of?
the partnership between Dallas and me, we've collaberated on many designs, im proud to call her my friend and get the chance to finish her pieces!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
as with all quilt piecing keep the seams all the same width, as for hand quilting, always lay out your piece and let it 'talk' to you for a bit, it always inspires me in my designs!
