Amethyst for February

Instructions

The most difficult part of this project was finding the right "other" bead to combine with the Amethysts and pick up the colors in the pendant. The 4 black and 2 blue Fire Opal accent beads cost several times as much as all of the other components of the necklace. However, it was made as a birthday gift for my daughter and she is more than worth it!

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic

Materials

Amethyst rounds, Lavender Amethyst rondelles, black and blue Fire Opal rounds with Amethyst and Blue Fire Opal (created) pendant. Beadalon beading wire and silver-plated lobster clasp and findings.

What was your inspiration?

My daughter's February birthday (Amethyst birthstone) and that "bling" pendant.

What are you most proud of?

That I finally found the right accent beads and finished the necklace that I started 7 months ago.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make it with love.
