Amethyst Circles reversible bezel

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Circles reversible bezel »

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic, Classic, Traditional

Materials

Made with copper wire and an Amethyst cabochon, the swirling wire detail encompasses the stone to hold it firmly in place. The pendant is 1 tall, including the bail and 7/8 wide. I have hung it on a 17" Viking knit chain, which I have finished with coiled wire cones and a hand made hammered hook clasp. Check out my Viking knit chain tutorial: http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/jewelry/Necklace/Viking-knit-Chain/4854

Wow what a terrific bezel that is! I want to learn to do that! What gauge wire was used on the bezel? Stunning project!

Thanks for your quick response! Of course I found the tutorial. You must have been doing this for a very long time. I admire all your work.

Thank you for your kind words Beth, yes I have been making jewellery since I was a child, starting with simple pendants and strung necklaces and developing into what you see today :)
