What was your inspiration?

It was my friend K's birthday. I wanted to make something that was "Her." She has gorgeous red/gold hair and cat-green eyes. So I decided on a stretchy wristlet that could also be worn as a necklace. Or, used as an ornamental piece in a room (think, necklace in a small bowl on a bedside table). Or, as a bookmark.

What are you most proud of?

I loved the way all the colors came together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Follow your own sense of what colors go together. Even though you have a primary and secondary color scheme, spark it up with harmonizing colors.

What did you use to string the beads onto the cording?

The beading cord I used was small enough to string the beads by hand...is that what you meant? My eyeballs got a workout!
