Mary Engelbreit for Moda Attitude Girls -- one charm pack plus yardage

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration was my best friend from high school's birthday -- the "Attitude Girls" line seemed perfect for her!

What are you most proud of?

I love how quickly it came together - just like Jenny said!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be discouraged if your hourglass blocks aren't the same size as your four-patches. I trimmed everything down to 9x9 and it worked out just fine!

I have been planning to try this pattern,Jenny makes it all look so easy. hope my results are as spectacular as yours. how did you do the actual quilting on this project? machine , hand ?

Thanks so much! Yes, I used yardage for the hourglass blocks and just cut them the size of layer cakes (10x10) then followed the directions from there. The finished size was about 52x60! Thank you so much for your kind words, they made my day!
