What was your inspiration?
definitely the craftsy course; I love the look of the diamond pattern that comes out on the altered squares design.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is SO EASY, it took me only a day to make the entire thing. Definitely sort your layer cake into dark and light, and try to match the dark with the light whenever you can.
