Yarn. Colors. I saw a pattern that appealed and I was ready to go.
What are you most proud of?
Completion. Outcome.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Alpaca is a joy to knit. In fact, a beauty to knit. If you are a regular knitter, you would like to go on an on. But you must be careful when putting stitches. In other words, don't put too many stitches. The hat will be much bigger than your imagination. I recommend putting at least 15-20 stitches less than your regular yarn. This yarn would open up like anything. In addition, make sure that you use the right needles.
