What was your inspiration?
Got a request for a birthday cake that was tied to the television show "Swamp People" (people who hunt alligators). The closing shot of the show is just a alligator foot/hand sticking up out of the water and the wife requested I make one for the cake.
I made the foot out of RKT (rice krispie treats) to keep it light weight and covered it in fondant. I then made the "scales" using a tip opening, then colored dusted it, then put a coating of confectioner glaze to give it that wet look.
