What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a difficult pattern, utilizing figure-8 cast on, short row heels, and a lace chart. It can be knit even if you're not an expert knitter, but use Google to look up methods you don't understand and help you. Above all else don't give up! Just take your time, and in the end you'll end up with some new skills AND a cushy pair of socks!!
