What was your inspiration?
I was asked to create a coin quilt, by Quilt Magazine, using textural prints from Wilmington Fabrics. Each coin is of varied width to give it a little more interest. The off white fabric really shows off the coin strips. A very modern looking
What are you most proud of?
This quilt was published in the very first issue of Simple Quilts and Sewing in the Fall of 2011!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Try different fabric and color combos. Would look great with a darker background fabric and brights for the coins!
