What materials did you use? Light grey leather for a bag, orange Scotish leather for trimming and curtain cord for handles

One little touch you might add - insert metal grommets into the leather where your hole for the handle are located to reinforce the openings. This will prevent the cord from straining the leather and tearing it.

Thank you, Don! this is a good idea...i am just scared to ruin th ebag somehow....may be i should make proper handles insted of cord...

I re-did the handles and added a pocket on the other side of the bag... My daughter had it now... I will ask her to send me updated pictures...

...now with leather handles and another two-tone pocket ... I also used Chicago screws to attach the handles...
