What was your inspiration?
I was asked to design and sew a quilt square to represent the City of Erie as we were a finalist for the All American City Award. I was very honored to do such a task (I only had 2 weeks for design and sewing! yikes!).
What are you most proud of?
This was the first thing that I had designed on my own (besides just altering a pattern). It took awhile and lots of math...
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use Thangles and have a friend who is a graphic designer will help tremendously!
