What was your inspiration?
I saw this Alice in Wonderland fabric and knew I had to make something with it. (I love all things Alice.) A nice twirly skirt was just the thing. I chose black and white check fabric to represent the chess board from the story.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a very simple drop-waist skirt with a belt, so have fun with the fabric selection!
