Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Unisex

Style: Whimsical

Materials

black & white whimsical prints, fabulous, bright Batiks, and all of our yummy scrappy's!! Lots of crystals for 'blinging'. This is 1 of 6 custom "Alice" themed quilts!

What was your inspiration?

Before the new movie even was announced, we had thought about pattern design for bright Batiks..."Alice in Wonderland' was an instant idea. Timely for us...as the movie then launched at the same time!

What are you most proud of?

Our ability to make an idea of a quilt and make it feasible for others to duplicate by offering a pattern for all of our creations. We offer great directions and instructions for all blocks and techniques, including extra addendum pages for finishing touching and paper piecing when applicable in Robin's Quilt Nest's patterns, making it easy for ALL levels of quilters.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time, blanket stitch each image in matching threads. Follow the directions on which block to make first and in sequence...i.e. the Cat's Tail is over lapping another block so you would want to take note of that.
