What was your inspiration?

A friend and I had gone to Alaska in June 2011 and camped in Denali National Park. She bought a cup of coffee and liked the picture on the paper cup, which she saved for a souvenir. I picked up the cup and saw it in my mind's eye in brown batik on a cream background. Took the cup and promised her she'd like what I was going to do with it better than keeping a paper cup. She does :)

What are you most proud of?

How much Jo liked the wall hanging I made for her -- she's got it hanging in her foyer!

Since I like in Interior Alaska not very far from Denali Park and have since 1975, this piece caught my eye right away. Very nice job. I like that you did it from a cup design.

I'd be happy to share the "design" I drew it out and discovered I needed to reverse it to transfer it to material. One of these days I'll get around to making one for myself!
