Nixxi, I purchased the stencil from AC. I cut the one for the dress/bolero, and considered the time and effort and decided it was better for me to purchase.

Reply to this comment...oops - pressed return in error ... couldn't imagine cutting that one by hand! I have tried to cut a couple of stencils and it is not my favourite part of the process so I have decided to purchase any that I want.

What a great top! I love the Facets stencil - did you make your own stencil or buy it from AC?

The binding around the neckline is not challenging at all. I stretch it a little as I apply, baste it and then try it on to make sure it is okay. This neckline I cut a little larger than I should have, but I just stretched the trim as I applied and selected a decorative stitch that I could make a little tighter than some others as I really did not need any stretch. It worked out perfectly and I am very happy with it.
