What are you most proud of? Great satisfaction (more than pride) about making a young child happy to have received a new dress. I was sent photos of them wearing their dresses. That was enough reward for me.*: )

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just dive right in and have fun combining fabrics and creating something unique. You'll find out it's not as difficult as it looks. Pick a pattern that says "simple to sew", Then add details as you go and it will look like a boutique dress in no time.

Hi Charlotte. I'm (sew) impressed with your little dresses! You have a great heart, sharing your garments all over the world. Wish you were my neighbor . . . we'd have some fun working on projects. Do you wake up in the morning and find you have a new project idea in your head? The fabrics and combinations you put together are stunning. Do you have a favorite pallette of colors you continue to use most of the time, or is it a continuous surprise to find yourself loving a new fabric just because it steals your heart for the moment? Your friend, Linda

Hi Linda: Thanks for the kind comments. I am all over the place with fabric, like you said, if a project I have in my head needs a certain color/fabric combination, I'm interested in that for a while. Just like the african looking fabrics. I still have some but now I'm into flannels etc . . .So many fabrics/ideas, so little time! I work in the toy industry and I tend to like lots of color combinations, in other words, not afraid of combining colors and patterns together.
