Instructions
I just made this by crocheting squares and put them together how I thought would look good. I embellished the squares with hearts because they are a passion and favorite of mine. This is the very first time I have "ever" crocheted anything and finished it. The border was by luck, I found a pattern for a lace and used that and it turned out beautiful.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make all my Christmas gifts this year. I also wanted them to be all made by material made in the USA. I have never tried to make anything so I thought I would try. I am left handed so I just kind of winged my way through things.
What are you most proud of?
Most important part of this project was to finish it. I am Gemini and we can't stick to one thing for too long. So I am especially proud that I not only finished it, I also designed it. What an accomplishment this was for me. It was very satisfying to see the end result. My sister got this for her Christmas present and she loves it....yeah!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use your imagination and put what embelishments you would like to see on an afghan. It is really quite fun to see how it comes out.
