This pattern requires about 100 yrads of the main colour and small amounts of two other colours for the striped band. Uses travelling jogless stripes and is a great project to learn that technique on. Easy texture pattern looks a bit like cables but isn't.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
The gorgeous colours in the Cleckheaton Perfect Day are all natural colours from the wool/alpaca blend and they really reminded me of the various types of coffee, so I decided to name the pattern after affogato, a beautiful dessert coffee made from a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a shot of expresso poured over it. Haven't had a change to wear this out for one yet, but I will :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Great way to use up small amounts of yarn, you could even use different colours for each stripe!
