I didn't have any stretcher bars...then I remember i have that same loom from taking a bead weaving class this past summer.I'm cutting off the sewing thread warp, I had problems with the tension..ok I asked for the Mirrix Loom for my Birthday...

I have the same type of loom (I've had it for years) and was just wondering if I could use it for the bracelet....and see...you made a really great bracelet! I hope mine will look this good, too.

DTSwan, what loom is this? I am a complete novice but have joined this class and need a loom before I begin. I bead weave by hand but thought I would try looming and want to test the waters before investing in a quality loom. Love your creations!

As I was saying before I accidentally hit "enter"....Totally excited that you can create this bracelet on a wire loom..... You really did a great job even though you didn't have the Mirrix loom. I like that you didn't let not having the proper loom stop you from weaving the project anyway. : ) They are a little pricey especially when one is not working. But I agree once I get back on my feet I'm going to save for one of those looms also.

This little loom got me started. It limits you to what type of warp you can use, but it is still fun!! I did order the Mirrix loom and am waiting for that to arrive. Good luck with your projects! Post some when you can.

We think alike. I went right out and bought the same loom from AC Moore. it's not perfect but it works and can't beat the price. Saving for a Mirrix. Great project, btw.
