What was your inspiration?
It was just really, really pretty. This was the shawl that inspired me to start making lace shawls, although I worked up to this one by knitting a few smaller shawls with simpler patterns.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the fact that I managed to get through the entire shawl without having to rip back once. And having the patience for putting all the beads on the stitches.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have a lot of patience handy. There are a lot of beads that will be placed on individual stitches, and that can be very time consuming and drag out rows that are already super long. Lifelines are also a good idea.
