What was your inspiration?
My 26 year old daughter wouldn't let me live it down if I didn't crochet her a Hello Kitty hat! I made her a HK ring and bracelet for Christmas, but she has to have the hat! LOL Gotta love her for the inspiration.
What are you most proud of?
Before I started it, I had every intention of following someone else's pattern. But, then I thought "I'm a crocheter! I can do this on my own." So, I got my yarn together and just started in on it. The ears were the worst! I went through 3 different designs before settling on these. I DID IT!! It may not be the best in the world, but I am proud of the finished product!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to venture out on your own. Some projects can give you the feeling of "OMG I could never do that without a pattern!" YES YOU CAN!! I DID!!
